QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan Alyani has inaugurated a tourist attraction, the Pir-Ghaib resort, in Bolan district.

The resort was recently renovated and more facilities were added to it for visiting tourists.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony on Tuesday, the chief minister said that almost two million people used to visit the Pir-Ghaib resort, but it was badly neglected in the past and this situation enhanced sense of deprivation among the people of the area.

Mr Alyani lauded efforts of Balochistan FC for renovation and restoration of the tourist attraction. The renovation and restoration work on the recreation place was jointly carried out by the Balochistan government and Frontier Corps.

Mr Alyani said that peace had been restored in Bolan and people could now travel to the area along with their families.

Commander Southern Command Lieutenant General Wasim Ashraf, Inspector General Frontier Corps Balochistan Major General Syed Fayyaz Hussain Shah, Balochistan Chief Secretary retired Captain Fazeel Asghar, Nasirabad Commissioner Abid Saleem Qureshi and other military and government officials attended the ceremony.
