ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) division bench, scheduled to hear the appeals of PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz and retired Capt Mohammad Safdar, has been dissolved due to unavailability of judges.

The bench, comprising Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani was to decide the way forward for proceedings in the judge’s leaked video case on Wednesday but both had to go into isolation after their domestic workers tested positive for Covid-19. Justice Kayani’s cause list for the entire week has been cancelled.

The court had sought assistance from National Accountability Bureau Additional Prosecutor Jahanzeb Khan Bharwana during proceedings on the appeal of PML-N supreme leader Nawaz Sharif.
