Hyderabad woes

Published December 12, 2020

HYDERABAD ranks eighth as a city in terms of population in the country. But it seems that urbanisation has affected Hyderabad the most. Urban pollution has devastated the city and has aggravated people’s misery. All three tiers of governance as well as district administration have failed to mitigate the sufferings of the people. The rapidly growing population has also added to the city’s long list of issues.

All public office-holders, including MNAs and MPAs, should sit together and devise a strategy to overcome the issues that the residents of Hyderabad face today. Besides, the local government should play a proactive role in order to ensure a healthy life for the people.
