SWABI: Two people were killed and three injured when rival groups clashed over a children’s fight in Razaar tehsil here on Sunday.

Officials said the incident occurred in Yaqubi village which falls in the limits of Chota Lahor police station. Both the deceased and the injured belonged to one family.

The deceased were identified as Hashmat Khan and Kamran Khan and injured Sayed Aftab, Izhar Khan and an unidentified person.

The injured were taken to the Kalu Khan Hospital, wherefrom they were referred to a hospital in Mardan due to their critical condition.

The Kalu Khan police after registering FIR arrested two accused persons, including Sadiq Khan and Wajid Khan.

Meanwhile, four people were injured in two accidents involving motorcycles on Swabi-Mardan and Swabi-Jehangira roads on Sunday.

The injured were taken to the district headquarters hospital and the Kalu Khan Civil Hospital.
