RAWALPINDI: Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) on Saturday said that joint air exercise Shaheen-IX would strengthen and promote the friendship and cooperation between Pakistan and China as well as the armed forces of the two countries.

The chairman witnessed the conduct of Pak-China Joint Air Exercise at an operational airbase of Pakistan Air Force, said an Inter-Services Public Relations press release.

The drill was intended to further enhance interoperability of both air forces and has provided an excellent opportunity to learn from each other’s experiences.

Upon his arrival, the CJCSC was received by Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force.

Chairman of the JCSC lauded the professionalism of the participants and appreciated the efforts of PAF and Peoples Liberation Army Air Force in conducting a bilateral exercise in a befitting manner.
