THE government did the right thing by closing down all educational institutions across the country in the wake of the second wave of Covid-19.
While the decision has been hailed by one and all, it inadvertently hurt the prospects of those who wish to appear in the CSS examinations due to be held two months from now.
Being a CSS aspirant, I would visit the Quaid-i-Azam Library in Lahore until it was closed following the government order. The library will remain closed till Jan 10. I can vouch for the diligence with which all libraries were following the SOPs and how their closure is now affecting the CSS aspirants. I urge the authorities concerned to consider reopening the libraries so that the students may study there in peace to prepare for their CSS examinations.
