TAXILA: Six members of a family were injured after fire broke out in their residence due to a gas leak in Jand, Attock on Friday.

Sources in police and Rescue 1122 said the family’s house caught fire as soon as Mohammad Tanveer’s wife switched on the stove to prepare breakfast. The family was shifted to Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital from where the couple was shifted to Rawalpindi due to their critical condition.

Meanwhile, a motorcyclist died after being hit by a speeding trailer on Hazara Road near grid station.
