Six perish on road in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Six persons were killed and four injured in two road accidents here, police said on Friday.

Four persons were killed and two injured when a car met an accident in the limits of Sherjungi police station late Thursday night.

The police identified the dead as Israr, Osama Saeed, Asfandyar and Jibran, and injured as Changez and Jabir Khan.

The cause of the accident was over-speeding.

In another accident, two motorcycles collided in Mathra area on Friday, killing two persons and injuring as many.

The police named the victims Waheed and Noman and injured Wasif and Asim.
