BADIN: Unknown assailants riding a motorcycle shot dead a cattle trader and his son near Ibrahim Shah village here on Tuesday, officials at the Kadhan police station said.

Jawed Brohi, a resident of Quetta, along with his son, Tanveer, had arrived in the village a few days back to visit his lands in Deh Singari of Badin taluka. They had gone to Kadhan to buy livestock and were attacked by the armed men on their way back to Ibrahim Shah village.

A hunt for the killers was on, police said.
