KARACHI: Indonesian Consul General in Karachi Totok Prianamto died on Saturday afternoon after a two-week struggle with Covid-19.
The Indonesian diplomat was admitted to a private hospital in Clifton two weeks ago and was under treatment for Covid-19. On Saturday he suffered severe heart attack and passed away at around 4pm.
This was confirmed to APP by Mr Abdi, consul for information and socio-cultural affairs, Consulate of Indonesia.
The late Indonesian CG’s body will be airlifted to his homeland as soon as the medico-legal formalities are completed.
