KARACHI: United Bank Ltd (UBL) and Faysal Bank Ltd (FBL) were declared the Best Digital Bank and Best Emerging Bank, respectively, for the year 2020 at the recently held 5th Pakistan Banking Awards 2020.

UBL President and CEO Shazad G. Dada said this award has reinforced the bank’s position as the country’s leading progressive and innovative bank, said a press release.

After receiving the award, Faysal Bank President and CEO Yousaf Hussain said this recognition also indicates that the new direction and strategy that the bank has adopted in terms of growth and transformation to Islamic through technology, digitisation and customer-centricity are paying off.
