GWADAR: The Vice Chancellor of Turbat University, Dr Abdul Razzaq Sabir, has pledged to promote a culture of innovative research.

Speaking at a meeting of the Advanced Studies and Research Board of the university, he said the university was working hard to provide quality education and promote a favourable environment to students.

The board unanimously confirmed the minutes of the previous meeting. It discussed and resolved matters related to viva voce reports of the scholars of M.Phil Chemistry and Balochi. The board went through the research reports of scholars of MS Management Sciences department and resolved them accordingly.

Besides, deliberation on thesis evolution reports of the scholars, the board also discussed and resolved the synopsis and thesis submitted by various scholars of M.Phil Chemistry.

Earlier, registrar Ghulam Farooq presented the agenda for deliberation and decision of the board.

Prof Dr Abdul Saboor, Dean Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences, Prof Dr Gul Hassan, Dean Faculty of Law, Tanvir Ahmed, Controller of Examinations, Dr Adeel Ahmed, Assistant professor, Dr Naeemullah, Assistant Professor, Dr Wasim Barkat, Chairperson Management Sciences, Dr Wahid Bakhsh, Principal Atta Shad Degree College, Turbat, Ms Nazal and Sidra Abdul Ghafoor, Lecturers of Girl’s Degree College, Turbat also attended the meeting.

The board paid tribute to Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Abdul Razzaq Sabir’s leadership skills and his vision of making Turbat University one of the leading institutions of higher education in the country in a short span of time.
