HYDERABAD, Oct 10: The City Taluka Staff Union (CBA) has expressed resentment over non-payment of monthly salary to employees. In a joint statement issued here on Monday, the president of the union, Ghulam Mohammad Qureshi, general secretary Akram Rajput and chairman Huzoora Masih said the employees had not been paid salary for September and authorities should ensure the payment without any delay.

They criticized insensitivity of the authorities reminding them that their families were starving even during Ramazan.

They said even the shopkeepers had refused to provide them edible items on credit and they were not able to pay utility bills and were being threatened by Hesco with disconnection of power supply.

They warned that if salary was not paid to employees, they would resort to protest and responsibility for the consequences would squarely rest with the administration.
