CHITRAL: An enraged man shot dead a woman relative, and injured his wife and mother-in-law after entering his father-in-law’s house here on Friday.

Mastuj sub-divisional police officer Muhyuddin told Dawn that the accused escaped the area after the incident. He said the police had cordoned off different entry points to arrest him.

He said the injured women were shifted to the district headquarters hospital, where they are stated to be in precarious condition.

The police officer said wife of the accused belonging to Bang village of Yarkhoon valley had been living with her parents for last two years after developing differences with her husband.
