SUKKUR: Pakistan Peoples Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari arrived in Khangarh on Friday without the usual security detail that accompanied him and was escorted by only one police mobile van.

Sources in the party said that since the PPP chairman had come to Khangarh to attend aqiqa ceremony of MNA Sardar Mohammad Bux Mahar’s son on a strictly personal and private visit, he preferred to travel light.

Bilawal travelled by road from Sukkur to Khangarh and his vehicle was driven by Sardar Mohammad Bux himself. He attended the aqiqa ceremony briefly and then Sardar Mohammad Bux brought him to Sanaywari Bungalow where he had had dinner and spent the night amid tight security, said the sources.

Bilawal was only accompanied by Sardar Mohammad Bux and no other party leader or worker was allowed to meet him, neither did he talk to media persons. He reportedly left on Saturday morning.
