HARIPUR: Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court Justice Qaiser Rasheed Khan would inaugurate the newly-constructed building of Haripur judicial complex on February 20.

This was stated by Advocate Mohibullah Khan, general secretary of district bar association here on Monday. He said that the new judicial complex consisted of 30 courtrooms, barroom, mosque, cafeteria and more than 192 offices of lawyers. The complex has covered area of 61-kanal.

Mr Khan said that construction of the new complex was formally started in 2013. It was completed last year at a cost of about Rs1 billion.

He said that PHC Chief Justice Qaiser Rasheed would be accompanied by judges of Abbottabad bench of Peshawar High Court, district judiciary and administrative officers during the inauguration of the complex.

He said that all the district courts would be relocated to the new building. He said that the problem of congestion in the existing court and accommodation of lawyers would be addressed once for all after the inauguration of the new complex.
