Four killed, 10 injured in Sibi road accident

DERA MURAD JAMALI: Four people were killed and 10 others injured when two cars collided near Bakhtiarabad area of Sibi district on Tuesday.

The injured people included women and children, sources said. The condition of six injured persons was stated to be serious as they had suffered multiple injuries.

According to the Highway Police, a car coming from Quetta collided with a car coming from Dera Bugti as driver of one of the cars lost control over his vehicle after its tyre burst.

“Four people travelling in one of the cars were killed on the spot and 10 others suffered injuries,” a senior officer of the Highway Police said.

He said members of the Highway Police rushed to the site of the accident soon and took the dead bodies and injured people to Sibi district hospital.

The deceased were identified as Abdul Majeed, Abdul Rahim, Ejaz Ahmed and a child whose name could not be ascertained.

Those who were injured in the accident were Ghous Bakhsh, Abdul Aziz, Muhammad Usman, Waria Khan, Bibi Ayesha, Nafisa Bibi, Tayyaba Bibi, Mor Jan, Bibi Farhat and Babay.
