SWABI: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz provincial president Amir Muqam said here on Thursday that time had come to oust the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf government as it failed to take any step for welfare of the masses despite making tall claims of economic prosperity.

He visited Jhanda village and other localities to offer his condolences to relatives of the party activists who had passed away recently. PML-N district president Shiraz Khan and former MPA Baber Saleem accompanied him.

Talking to mediapersons, Mr Muqam claimed that next chairman of the Senate would be from Pakistan Democratic Movement. He said that in this regard the PDM leaders had completed their homework to defeat the ruling party and its allies.

The PML-N leader said there was a complete unity in the ranks of the alliance.

He said the ruling party had used various tactics to create discord in the PDM ranks, but it failed. Mr Saleem said that record price hike had made it almost impossible for masses to buy essential commodities and pay for utilities.
