KASUR: Changa Manga police on Sunday arrested a youth for allegedly killing a man for sexually abusing him for years.

The suspect, according to police, shot dead his alleged abuser on Friday and threw his body into the Changa Manga forest. The two worked together in an auto workshop in Lahore.

Police had found the body of a man who was said to have been shot dead. They shifted it to Chunian THQ Hospital for autopsy. It was later identified as that of 35-year-old ‘T’.

Police said they arrested 17-year-old ‘M’ with the help of call data record and he had allegedly confessed to killing the man for sexually abusing and blackmailing him for years.

Police lodged a murder case against ‘M’ and were looking into the matter.

Separately, Pattoki Saddar police arrested a man for allegedly killing a student of Grade 10 a month ago in Jagowala village.

They claimed that during interrogation the suspect had confessed to killing the student for developing relations with the suspect’s sister. Police also claimed to have recovered the murder weapon and were further investigating further.

HONOUR KILLING: Sarai Mughal police on Sunday booked a man for hacking his sister to death in the name of honour in Bahr Sodian village.

According to complainant Fatima Bibi, her son Muhammad Iqbal killed her 18-year-old daughter Nighat with an axe over suspicions of her character. Iqbal had also been stopping his sister from going out of the house.

However, Iqbal managed to flee from the spot. Police lodged a case and were looking for the suspect.
