Water supply to remain partially suspended in some sectors of Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Tuesday announced that water supply in various sectors will remain partially suspended from March 18 to 20 due to maintenance work.

According to CDA’s statement, due to repairing and changing of a 36-inch dia water pipeline, water supply will remain partially suspended in some sectors including G-6, G-7, G-8, G-9, F-7, and F-8. However, supply will remain open on alternate days.

The statement said that CDA will do its best to complete work as soon as possible, so citizens could get water.

Residents of the sectors have been directed to store water for use at home during the days water supply will remain suspended, the statement read,

adding water should be used carefully and citizens should cooperate with CDA in this regard.

The affected sectors are being supplied water through Simly Dam.
