Narowal dist govt to send 200 trucks

NAROWAL, Oct 15: The district government will send 200 trucks carrying relief goods for the quake victims. This was said by District Coordination Office (DCO) Rao Manzar Hayat here on Saturday.

He said the district government had purchased blankets and tents worth Rs0.5 million and was sending 10 trucks daily. He said the government had prepared relief packets containing 10kg flour, 5kg rice, ghee and dry milk each, 1kg tea, 2kg grams, match boxes, four bottles of mineral water and three boxes of biscuits.

He said the Punjab government had directed to ensure the dispatch of goods to the quake victims at the earliest.
