Dreams can come true

This is regarding the story “Dreams can come true” by Noor Baksh (YW, March 13). I agree with the writer that dreams can really come true.

Everyone has dreams, but some lack motivation and patience. Only those who stay firm, work hard and have patience reach their goals and achieve success.

I n the story “Dreams can come true” by Noor Bakhsh (YW, March 13), the writer highlighted the plight of youngsters who don’t get support from their parents. It is often seen that parents force their children to opt for a field that their kids are not at all interested in. However, what parents don’t realise is the fact that when children do something that they are interested in, it results in achievements and success.

So parents should consider the interest of their children and support them, instead of pressurising them.

The story “Dreams can come true” by Noor Bakhsh correctly pointed out that every dream can come true if we believe and work hard to achieve it.

It is also important how you choose your life or career. Choosing the field of your interest could result in great success, but selecting something in which your interest doesn’t lie could have an unfavourable result.

Plastic bottle planters

This is with reference to the Wonder crafts “Plastic bottle planters” by Asif Ali (YW, March 6). I am an old reader of YW, I like reading all the articles, stories and poems. But I enjoy the Wonder crafts section more.

I love gardening and making crafts, I made plastic bottle planters with my friends and they turned out to be so beautiful. I am very thankful to the YW team for providing material considering every readers’ interest.

Cook-it-yourself

This is regarding the Cook-it-yourself section “Strawberry banana smoothie” by Aamnah Arshad (YW, March 13). I loved the recipe as it was very easy and the best part is that it is made from a fruit that is easily available these days.

The recipe was easy and we can try it often at home. I appreciate the hard work of the YW team for providing us great content and would like to thank all the contributors for writing wonderful articles and stories.
