KARACHI: Top Seed Farhan Altaf opened his account in men’s singles second round with an easy win against Salman Tahir while second seed Asif Bachani also eased through in the 62nd Sindh Sports Board STA Development Series Ranking Tennis championship 2021 being played at the Union Club on Tuesday.

Men’s singles (second round): Farhan Altaf bt Salman Tahir 6-0, 6-0; Eibad Sarwar Hussain Khan bt Bilal Khan (Hyderabad) 6-2, 3-6, 10-5; Asif Bachani bt Asad Bachani (Hyderabad) 6-3, 6-2.

Boys’ under-17 singles (semi-final): M Ali Khattak bt Salman Tahir 6-1 6-3.

Boys’ under-15 singles (second round): M Asil Khattak bt Ali Hassan 6-2, 6-2.

Boys’ under-13 singles (quarter-finals): Abdullah Razak bt Dhurf Das 4-1, 4-2.

Boys’ under-11 singles (semi-final): Zayd Zaman bt Rashid Ali 4-1, 4-2.

Men’s doubles (first Round): Eibad Sarwar Khan/M. Ali bt Ali Hassan/Hashir Sohail 8-1.
