LAHORE: The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) and the All-Pakistan Private School Association here on Wednesday signed an agreement to promote the national game at the private schools level.

From the PHF, secretary Asif Bajwa and from the schools association its president Shabbir Ahmad signed the agreement.

According to the agreement, the PHF will provide coaches to schools on their request to train their players.

Interestingly, only a few private schools hold appropriate field for any hockey activity while an overwhelming majority of schools have no such facility.
