LAHORE: The Punjab government on Thursday repatriated the services of Rawalpindi Commissioner retired Capt Muhammad Mahmood to the Establishment Division for further orders.

He has been relieved of his duties in Punjab forthwith.

Chief Minister’s Inspection Team chairman Gulzar Hussain Shah has been transferred and posted as Rawalpindi commissioner.

The Punjab government transferred Planning and Development Board’s chief economist Nabeel Javed and posted him as secretary Punjab Auqaf and Religious Affairs department/chief administrator Punjab Auqaf Organisation against a vacant post relieving energy department secretary Muhammad Aamir Jan of additional charge of the post.

The Punjab government also transferred Lodhran deputy commissioner Imran Qureshi and directed him to report to the S&GAD for further orders.

Syed Muhammad Masood Nouman, additional director Punjab Land Records Authority, has been transferred and posted as DC Lodhran in his own pay and scale.
