BAHAWALPUR: In pursuance of the directive of Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, the district administration on Friday made 150 Insaf mobile shops functional.

Deputy Commissioner Muzaffar Khan Sial said 150 mobile Insaf shops had been made functional in the cities, towns, villages and streets where people could get vegetables and fruits at reduced rates compared to those of open market.

PhD THESIS: Director Public Relations Nasir Hameed has successfully completed the defence of his PhD thesis entitled “Portrayal of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) in International Press” at the Media Studies Department of Islamia University Bahawalpur (IUB).

He had two foreign referees Dr Shahira Fehmy of The American University in Cairo, Egypt and Dr Awais Aslam of Lamar University, Beaumont, Texas ,USA while his supervisor was Prof Dr Muhammad Shehzad (IUB) who appreciated his research work.
