HYDERABAD, Oct 18: The director admissions of the University of Sindh announced here on Tuesday that a test for admission to the bachelor’s programme in all disciplines for the 2006 session would be conducted on October 30.

Admit cards to candidates will be issued from the Sindh University Model School, Elsa Kazi Campus, (Old Campus) Hyderabad from October 27 to October 29.

The director further announced that the aptitude test of candidates for admission to the Fine Arts would be conducted on October, 25 at 9am in the Institute of Arts and Design, Arts Faculty Building, Jamshoro.

He advised the candidates concerned to bring their NICs with them.

The drawing test material will be provided by the institute.

DCO: Jamshoro DCO Qabool Ahmed Shaikh has said that the development of the district and the well being of the people was a challenge to the officials of the new district.

He stressed the need for team work among the officials and added that district executive officer of each department will have to provide leadership in the completion of all development schemes.

He said this while presiding over a meeting of the district officers of all departments in his office here on Tuesday.

He directed that all the schools in the district which were lying closed should be reopened and the EDO works and services should carry out the repair work of the schools.

The officials complained about the shortage of staff. The DCO held out an assurance that all the problems will be resolved as soon as possible.
