So much for being late!

This is regarding the story “So much for being late” by Aimen Zehra (YW, April 3). The story rightly pointed out that being irresponsible can lead us towards failure.

For instance, we can miss good opportunities and, as a result, people get the impression of us being careless. One should always try to reach for any appointment before the actual time to avoid any discomfort and inconvenience.

Cook-it-yourself

Iam a keen reader of YW and I enjoy reading all the stories and articles, but what I like most in the magazine is the section on making small, but yummy treats that is “Cook-it-yourself” by Aamnah Arshad (YW, April 10).

The recipes that come in this section are always delicious and easy to make.

However, I would like to request the writer to include recipes in which we don’t have to use the oven. Because some people, like me, don’t have oven at home so we cannot try the recipes. I would also request the writer to include food that is cooked in frying pans or regular cooking pots so that kids like me could also make them.

The strawberries lime mocktail recipe was easy and very delicious.

Talent takes you places

This is regarding the story “Talent takes you places” by Aliza Hameed (YW, March 20). It was a wonderful story as it ignites hope in people who are going through tough times. One should never lose hope and always trust their abilities because what you can achieve through your talent is lasting and more fulfilling.

I agree with the message the story “Talent takes you places” by Aliza Hameed conveyed. Those who are not rich but have some talent, they can conquer the world, but those who have money and no talent, their money won’t take them to the heights of success.

Speed up your memory!

I agree with most of the points Ms Tooba Khan shared in her article “Speed up your memory”. The acronym ‘FAST’ (Forget Active State Teach) really helped me out.

It happens with a lot of school-going students, including myself that we forget what we learnt the night before. After reading this article, I am sure I will be able to score better and learn in a better way this year.
