KARACHI: Pakwonders Hockey Club, Youth Hockey Club, Baldia Hockey Club and Rabbani Hockey Club stormed into the semifinals of the KHA Inter-club Ramadan 5-a-side hockey league here on Wednesday.

In the first quarter-final, Pakwonders Club struggled to beat YMCA Hockey Club 2-0 in the penalty shoot out after playing 5-5 draw in the regulation time In the next match, Youth Hockey Club junior overwhelmed Al Faisal Hockey Club by 11-4. Abdul Wahab was the pick of the players and slammed a double hat-trick for the winners.

Balda Club scored a 2-0 victory over Tiger Club after getting tied at 6-6 draw in regulation time. In the last match Rabbani Hockey Club defeated Al Saghir Club by 5-4.

Bilal Arshad (Pakwonder club), Danial Ali (Tiger club), Fakhir Naseer (Baldya club) excelled by scoring hat-tricks for their teams.
