Black Adam has finally started shooting!

Black Adam, the movie centred on Shazam/Captain Marvel’s nemesis, has been in the works for so long it sometimes felt like it would never become real. But Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) wanted this superhero role for a long time, and he never gave up on it. He recently confirmed that shooting has begun.

The current incarnation of the film will likely focus on Adam as more anti-hero than villain. And it features the Justice Society of America. Pierce Brosnan plays Dr Fate, with Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone, and Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher.
