How to spend Ramazan

This is an apropos to “How to spend Ramadan” by Qasim Shafi (YW, April 10). I found this article interesting as it suggested some practical ways to spend Ramazan.

Apart from that, as this is a month full of blessings, therefore, we should not waste our time in useless activities and instead spend time in praying to God as much as possible. We should not forget to help the poor, who look towards us for help.

Online learning: a disaster or a saviour

This is with reference to the article “Online learning: a disaster or a saviour?” by Shahryar Asif (YW, April 10). The writer expressed his thoughts in a brilliant way, and rightly pointed out that both modes of studies — going to the school or attending the online classes — have their own benefits. However, it solely depends on the student how serious he/she takes his studies.

So, in my opinion, whether you are studying online or attending school physically, make sure you pay full heed to the lectures and study accordingly.

Keep your cool in the heat!

This is with reference to the cover story “Keep your cool in the heat’’ by Naveed Fayyaz (YW, April 10). I really appreciate the writer for giving us helpful tips regarding how to take care during hot days. All the tips were useful and very simple to follow.

Apart from that, taking a water bottle along wherever you go is a healthy habit for two main reasons. One, you don’t stay thirsty for longer hours; two, you don’t have to use other’s glass or bottle which could potentially be dangerous for spreading various kinds of viruses and germs.

Plastic bottle organiser

This is with reference to the Wonder crafts, “Plastic bottle organiser” by Asif Ali (YW, March 20). Young World is the best magazine for children as it caters to every kid’s interests.

The section, “Wonder crafts” is my favourite section among others. This section contains easy DIYs which we can create at home usually from the things readily available to us.

The plastic bottle organiser was an amazing craft; I made the organiser to put my chocolates and dry fruits in it and present it to my friends or any other guests when come.

Everybody loves it. I really appreciate the writer and request him to make more such crafts in the future as well.
