SWABI: A worker identified as Aman Sher of Qamar Dand area was killed in a mine when a huge rock fell on him on Friday, said leaders of the workers.

They said that Sher was working in a mine in the nearby mountain. The workers retrieved his body from the mine.

robber Held: Police here on Friday arrested a robber and recovered Rs300,000 cash from him.

Topi tehsil DSP Iftikhar Ali Khan said that a petrol station owner had registered an FIR in Topi city police station, complaining that the station cashier was deprived of Rs14,000 at gunpoint during duty.

He told mediapersons that they arrested one Khursheed Khan of Kotha village and during investigation he not only admitted to his involvement in the petrol station robbery, but also some other such incidents.

The DSP said that the suspect had also disclosed names of his accomplices.
