HYDERABAD: The city received another but brief spell of rain on Saturday, which started at around 4pm and continued for around 20 minutes, causing slime on roads.

The rain led to disruption in electricity supply for quite some time in many areas and the Hesco authorities started restoring it around Iftar timings. The city witnessed its first spell of rain on April 18.

The temperature had started rising in the city in last week of April.

Our Staff Reporter at Karachi adds: While Karachi is likely to remain warm and humid, most parts of the province are expected to experience very hot and dry weather during daytime on Sunday.

According to the Met department, dust and thunderstorm coupled with rain is expected after sunset in Sukkur, Larkana, Dadu, Mirpurkhas, Badin, Hyderabad and Shaheed Benazirabad.

Badin received 1mm rainfall on Saturday.
