KHUZDAR: Three people were killed and 18 others suffered injuries on Sunday in an accident on Quetta-Karachi RCD Highway near the Becha area of Kalat district.

Levies Force officials said a passenger wagon was going to Quetta from the Wadh area of Khuzdar district when it collided with a pick-up coming from the opposite direction.

As result of the collision, three people lost their lives and 18 others received injuries.

Levies personnel and motorway police rushed to the site and took the deceased and the injured to the district hospital in Kalat.

Later, the seriously injured people were sent to Quetta for better treatment.

The deceased were identified as 10-year-old Sania, Shah Mohammad and Sabaz Ali, who hailed from Wadh. The bodies were handed over to the heirs after completing medico-legal formalities.
