PESHAWAR: The Federation of Realtors of Pakistan has asked the Peshawar Development Authority (PDA) to give possession of plots to the owners in Regi Model Town here.

The federation’s patron-in chief Sirajul Haq Yousafzai said the project could not be complete till date despite start of work 25 years ago, according to a press release issued here on Monday.

He said due to a controversy between the PDA and a section of Afridi tribe the owners could not get possession of plots in zone 1.

He pointed out the zone 4 of the town comprised around 35 per cent of the population of the whole township but it had no mosque. He said the zone 3 had only two mosques.

Mr Yousafzai said residents at Hayatabad Township also faced numerous problems, and demanded their resolution.

He demanded that the government pay attention to Regi and Hayatabad townships before starting any new township in the provincial capital.
