FAISALABAD, Oct 21: State-run and private hospitals will provide free treatment to quake-hit people. This was decided in a meeting of the managements of hospitals and district administration presided over by nazim Rana Zahid Tauseef on Friday.
The meeting was told that the first batch of the injured people would be brought by C-130 flights within two days.
It was decided that the Surayya Majeed Hospital would make arrangements for the free treatment, medicines and food for 50 patients, Shafi Hospital for 75 patients, Faisal Hospital for 20, Ghulam Fatima Karim Hospital for 10, Mujahid Hospital for 20, Darul Sehat Hospital for 30, Sahil Hospital for 20, Mian Muhammad Trust Hospital for 10, National Hospital for 20, Allah Rakhi Trust Hospital for 100, Khadija Trust Hospital for 150 and Rathore Hospital for 10.
The meeting named EDO (health) Dr Umar Farooq Khan as coordination officer to look after the patients.
