Black Panther 2 release date and title revealed

Fans of Black Panther will be delighted to know that Marvel Studios has finally dropped the ultimate mega-trailer Black Panther 2. Although it’s quite thrilling, there is a slight sadness when it comes to remembering the lead character, Chadwick Bosman — Black Panther, who died in August 2020 from colon cancer.

The title of the movie is Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever, and it has a release date of July 8, 2022.

Filmmakers have so far confirmed that Chadwick will not be replaced. Earlier, Disney had posted a statement that Marvel Studios “will not recast the character, but will explore the world of Wakanda and the rich characters introduced in the first film.” Marvel president Kevin Feige said in a statement.

“His portrayal of T’Challa, the Black Panther, is iconic and transcends iteration of the character in any other medium from Marvel’s past.”

When it comes to filming the superhero story without Boseman, actress and co-star Letitia Wright who played T’Challa’s younger sister Shuri in the first film, said the thought of the sequel is a little “strange.”

BTS offers two new teasers of “Butter”

BTS is spreading love! The K-pop supergroup’s two new teasers for their upcoming English-language single “Butter” are out.

The first concept clip plays off the title of the upcoming song by kicking off with a closeup of a pat of heart-shaped butter in the middle of a piece of toast. It then moves on to Jungkook, who gazes into and points at the viewer, before moving on to show him spreading the butter on the toast, all over a consistent loop of music.

The second teaser features the same music loop and ahead of these two latest clips, BTS shared a 60-minute video featuring an animated pat of butter melting against a yellow background. The video has already racked up millions of views.

“Butter” is described in a press release as “a dance pop track brimming with the smooth yet charismatic charm of BTS.” The song is their second English-language tune. Their first was 2020’s “Dynamite,” which topped the Billboard Hot 100.
