TAXILA: As many as 37 development schemes worth Rs45.79 million will be completed till June 30 this year. This was stated by the district public issues redress committee at a meeting held at the deputy commissioner office on Saturday.

The meeting was presided over by Punjab Minister for Social Welfare and Baitul Maal Yawar Boukhari and attended by PTI district president Qazi Ahmed Akbar, acting deputy commissioner Sheharyar Arif Khan, and officials form different departments.

The participants were informed that funding for these projects was provided by the federal and the provincial governments. The projects included roads, public health, small dams, sports facilities, and municipal services.
