TAXILA: The district administration on Monday reviewed measures to dengue during the upcoming season.

To evaluate the preparedness, a meeting was held in Attock with additional deputy commissioner Asadullah Khan in the chair and was attended by other district health and education officers.

The meeting was informed that special measures had been taken for dengue patients in all the government hospitals.

Moreover, officials of health and environment departments are fumigating all the areas that are prone to dengue.

Additional deputy commissioner Asad Ullah Khan while speaking on this occasion said the administration was launching an anti-dengue campaign to stop the virus from spreading.

He said that special instructions had been issued to health and other allied departments to take all possible measures to kill dengue mosquitoes.

At the end a walk was organised which was led by Punjab Minister for social welfare and Baaitul Maal Yawar Boukhari to create awareness about dengue precautionary measures.
