RAWALPINDI/ISLAMABAD: A woman was sexually assaulted by six people in Dhoke Chaudhrian, Chaklala Scheme III, police said.

The woman lodged an FIR with the Airport police stating that she had been living in a rented house in Chaklala Scheme III for the last one year.

She said the owner of the house often teased her and asked her to make friendship with him otherwise vacate his house.

The woman said when she told her mother about the matter, the latter went to the house of the landlord and complained to his parents.

She said at 10:30pm on May 23, the house owner along with five unidentified people forcibly entered her house and dragged her into a room where she was raped by them.

The police have registered a case and launched an investigation.

Meanwhile, a dismembered body of a woman was found in a rural area here on Tuesday, police said.

Some villager spotted the body in a nullah near Lehtrar Road. Shortly after getting the information the police reached the spot and shifted the body to a hospital for postmortem.

Rural Zone Homicide Unit SI Ghulam Rasool when contacted told Dawn that a bag containing the body of a woman was found near the nullah.

The body has been shifted to hospital for autopsy, he added.
