RAWALPINDI: Robbers and thieves stole five motorcycles, snatched mobile phones, cash and other valuables in the garrison city on Tuesday.

Arshad Ahmed complained to the Bani police that he was on his way home after closing his clinic when three persons came and grabbed two mobile phones worth Rs 88,000 and Rs 60,000 from him on Azam Road and escaped.

Mohammad Paras complained to the Newtown police that two gunmen snatched three mobile phones worth Rs. 325,000 and Rs29,000 in cash from him at gunpoint near the Holy Family Hospital Road.

Arbab told Newtown police station that two persons snatched his mobile phone at gunpoint and escaped.

Mohammad Irfan lodged a similar complaint with the police saying that two unidentified persons took his mobile phone and Rs11,400 at gunpoint on Double Road and escaped.

Abdul Rehman’s two mobile phones were stolen while he was offering prayer in a mosque in the city police area. Abdullah’s mobile phone was snatched by an unidentified man in Fawara Chowk.

Shehryar was deprived of two mobile phones in the City police area.

Mohammad Zahid’s mobile phone and Rs 20,000 and gold jewelery worth Rs 300,000 were stolen from his house.

Mohammad Saghir’s mobile phone and Rs8,000 were snatched on Pirwadhai Road, while Mukarram Abbasi’smobile phone was snatched by two unidentified persons in Pirwadhai area.

Sohail Mohammad complained to the New Town police that an unidentified motorcyclist took his mobile phone and Rs20,000 and escaped.

Mohammad Naeem told Sadiqabad police that two persons entered his house and made off with Rs 25,000 and a smart-phone worth Rs 120,000.

Mohammad Naveed’s motorcycle was stolen from the parking of a telephone exchange; Osama Bin Ikhlaq’s motorcycle was stolen from Dhamial village, while Khuram Shahzad’s motorcycle was lifted from outside his house.

Rais Saqib was deprived of motorcycle parked outside his house; Amjed Mehmood’s motorcycle was lifted from outside his house in Kalar Syedan.

Omer Waqas, a resident of Rawat, complained to the police that two persons came on a motorcycle and snatched his mobile phone and Rs 8000 and sped off.

Ms Nayar Sultana complained to the Chontra police that her house had been burgled in her absence.

Shahbaz Munawar Khan, a resident of Dhamial complained to the police that machinery, cutters, tool kits and other valuables were stolen from his shop.
