ISLAMABAD: The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) on Friday raised the issue of closure and non-clearance of vehicles at the Chaman border with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

In this regard, an FPCCI delegation led by its President Nassar Hyatt Magoo met FBR Chairman Asim Ahmad, a press release said. The FPCCI delegation also shared the chamber’s budget proposals with the FBR for inclusion in the upcoming budget.

The delegation raised the issue of closure and non-clearance of vehicles at Chaman border due to a rent dispute between different institutions.

The FPCCI team also apprised the FBR chairman about the difficulties being faced by importers and exporters at Kharlachi Border, Kurram agency.
