LAHORE: A number of localities in the city on Tuesday remained without light due to feeders tripping, and falling of wires/cables/ poles due to Monday’s dust storm that left a number of areas without electricity.

However, the Lahore Electric Supply Company(Lesco) restored electricity supply to most parts of the city.

“Till 3:50pm on Tuesday, power supply to 95 per cent of the affected areas was restored,” Lesco Chief Executive Officer Chaudhry Muhammad Amin said in a press release.

He said since he was personally monitoring the restoration operations, the consumers facing any issue may contact the Lesco head office directly besides lodging complaints at 118 and through SMS at 8118 number.

LDA: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Tuesday launched e-tendering for the award of all projects through a transparent online system.

LDA Vice Chairman and the director general inaugurated the e-tendering system, according to a spokesman.
