KARACHI: Sindh Min­ister for Women Deve­lop­ment Syeda Shela Raza, who is also GM Women’s Hoc­­key Sindh, distributed hockey sticks and balls among women hockey players of the province on Monday to promote the game.

Accompanied by Secretary Sports Sindh, Syed Imtiaz Ali Shah, the Sindh Minister visited six districts of the province to distribute the sports equipment.

The hockey sticks and balls were donated by the Sports and Youth Affairs Depertment Sindh as a step to promote healthy activities among the women of the province.

Shehla Raza urged the women players to work hard and win laurels for the province. She cited the example of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Butto who devoted her life for the uplift of women’s cause in the country.
