MARDAN: A man, his wife and their minor son were killed allegedly over a family dispute in Ghaddar locality, police said here on Wednesday.
The police lodged a report on the complaint of Ilyas Hussain, brother of slain man, stating that the victims Farmani Gul, 42, his wife, 25, and their one and a half years son Husnain were killed by Gul’s daughter from his first wife and her brothers.
The report said that Gul had contracted a second marriage after the death of his first wife a few days ago and was presently living in Ghaddar locality along with his second wife.
However, his brothers-in-law and daughter from first wife were suspecting that he had killed his first wife.
The alleged killers nominated in the FIR included Garaan and Daulat, sons of Afzal Khan, and Hajira Bibi, daughter of Gul.
Jabbar police said they had launched investigation into the triple murder case.
