DERA GHAZI KHAN: Police booked a man and his four accomplices, for chopping off the nose of a youth and inflicted bullet injury on his leg allegedly for “honour”.

According to police, Asim Bilhora, a resident of Kotla Sher Muhammad village of Fazilpur tehsil of Rajanpur district had allegedly developed relations with a girl of the same village and also made a video clip of his meeting with her.

On knowing this, the girl’s brother, Amir, along with his accomplices, Pervaiz, Ibrahim, Nasir and Javed, overpowered Asim and chopped off his nose with a sharp knife to avenge, what was considered a blot on his family’s honour.

The prime suspect also shot at and injured Asim’s leg, beside subjecting him to severe torture and fled away.

Later, the injured youth was shifted to hospital for treatment by locals.

Fazilpur police have registered a case against five suspects and arrested one of them, identified as Ibrahim.
