LAHORE, Oct 24: Former Test opener Imran Nazir blasted an unbeaten 97 to inspire Sialkot to a six-wicket victory over Lahore Shalimar in the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Gold League match at the LCCA Ground on Monday.

Imran received good support from Qaiser Abbas (44, eight fours) as the pair bludgeoned 94 runs in 59 minutes to earn Sialkot six points for the second game running.

Earlier, Lahore Shalimar were all out for 174 in the second innings after starting at 109 for six. Left-arm pacer Zahid Saeed finished with four for 67 as only ex-Test wicket-keeper Humayun Farhat batted with some authority to score 46.
