HYDERABAD: A bogie of Karachi-bound Khyber Mail derailed near Hussainabad on Wednesday, causing rail traffic to grind to a halt on the down country track for around an hour.

According to Pakistan Railways Karachi division spokesman, Tariq Asad, the train derailed at around 11.30am and caused suspension of traffic till 12.40pm.

He said that bogie number-3 was put back on track and headed for Kotri railway station safely. No damage to bogie or injuries to passengers were reported, he confirmed.
