HYDERABAD: Eight huts gutted

HYDERABAD, Oct 25: Eight thatched houses and a buffalo-pen were gutted in the katchi abadi of Ali Nagar, Doomra Goth, Qasimabad, when a fire broke out there on Tuesday afternoon.

The cause of fire could not be ascertained. Three fire tenders extinguished the fire after a couple of hours.

The affected people included Ali Ghulam, Rasheed Ahmed, Allah Bachayo, Manzoor Ahmed, Aamoo, Jumo and Bakhshal, all Dasti by caste.

The buffalo-pen belonged to Qasim Magsi. A woman, Ghulam Fatima alias Gulan, received burn injuries.—Bureau
