RAWALPINDI: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested a Nigerian national on the suspicion of carrying heroin-filled capsules in his stomach at Islamabad International Airport on Saturday.

An official said the Nigerian national identified as Chukwuemeka Anselm Amara Chukwu was taken into custody on suspicion of having heroin filled capsules in his stomach. After the passenger was arrested and investigated by the ANF, he confessed to having swallowed drug-filled capsules.

The suspect, who was intended to travel to Muscat, was shifted to hospital to recover the drugs.
